Weight loss supplements are a popular topic in the weight loss world. MCT oil is derived from MCTs, or Monounsaturated Corporate Derivatives of Natural Ingredients. MCTs are partially hydrogenated fats. When they are processed, the fatty acids in MCTs are changed into longer chains, which causes them to easily enter the bloodstream. Since longer chains increase your body’s ability to retain and burn fat, they are believed to be useful for weight loss supplements because they are partially responsible for the increase in ketone bodies that occur during ketosis. However, there is no clear evidence on whether or not MCT oil is an effective appetite suppressant.

The reason why Hoodia and MCTs are so popular as appetite suppressants has to do with how they work. The bottom line is that if you want to lose weight, you need to eat less food than you normally do. However, if you do not make some dramatic changes, then you can not expect to lose any significant amount of weight.
